The right to move around y
our own country
Everyone has the right to freedom of
movement and residence within the borders of each state.
The Israeli military have made
checkpoints all over the west bank. There are big checkpoints in the wall
between towns. There are temporary checkpoints all over the place.
Everyone has the right to access all
areas of their countries. In Palestine, due to the wall, Palestine is
separated. A town called Abu Dis once was part of Jerusalem but is now
separated from it by the wall. People can’t access Jerusalem. Students don’t
receive education where they used to. Many families are separated.
