Then I talked about the blue and the green IDs and what is the difference between them.
Then I talked about the check points and the wall, especially the 2 main check points Qalandia in Ramallah and Rachel in Bethlehem .
I talked about the problems at the checkpoints and how long it takes the people to get home from city to city or from town to town or the opposite .

Back from Easter Holiday

Hi everyone,

Yesterday we took Momin our new volunteer from Palestine to LSU School. A lot of students were sick but there were at least 3 students. Momin told them about his long and complicated journey.  Next week we are planing to do a checkpoint game. We also want to take Nadine, the other new Volunteer from Palestine, with us.

Cricket event

Last Sunday I had the pleasure to learn something about cricket and try it out myself. I found out that cricket is really popular in countries like India and Pakistan as well as Britain. This was very surprising. But honestly, I think cricket has more rules than action and so I prefer other sporting activities. But still I had lots of fun to hold the cricket bat myself..

By the way, there were some young people, who we could invite to be part of the youth visit :)

Easter School Holidays

Hi guys!

Thanks a lot for this sessions between Christmas and Ester Holidays, we hope that you learn a lot about Palestine and the youth situation there, how the difficult is the daily life under occupation and how many problems our friends in Palestine fight everyday to be free, to live in pace and achieve their dreams.
Now, we want to wish a really good rest during this two Easter weeks and we will  see you soon! Also we want to remember that the youth visit is coming and we will have a meeting with every person who is interested to participate on 23th April at 15pmin Cadfa Office!

We hope to see you! And make a good group to enjoy the next visit.

Right to move

The right to move around y our own country
Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.
The Israeli military have made checkpoints all over the west bank. There are big    checkpoints in the wall between towns. There are temporary checkpoints all over the place.

Everyone has the right to access all areas of their countries. In Palestine, due to the wall, Palestine is separated. A town called Abu Dis once was part of Jerusalem but is now separated from it by the wall. People can’t access Jerusalem. Students don’t receive education where they used to. Many families are separated.
