Palestine timeline

Hello youth friends!

Yesterday we made a special session with the LSU school during our 'Humans Rights Club' in the afternoon.

We started talking about the next youth visit in June 2015 and the girls are really happy and excited to be participants. They have good ideas and they want to enjoy with our palestinian friends.
During the second part of the session we show a Palestine 'timeline' and we talked about different moments in the Palestine history. After that in two groups they decided two historical moments and they made a small research in internet to do a exposition for the other group about this moment. Was really beautiful listen the girls explaining things as a 'al-nakba' in 1948 or what is an intifada.

I hope they enjoyed the session because they were actives, talking, searching and learning a lot of things about Palestine.

Cake Sell

Last Thursday we had a cake sell at LSU School. It went brilliant. We earned 154 pound!!!!
A big thank you to all this lovely students, the CADFA members  and Erica (the teacher) which baked cakes, helped to organise it and to sell the cakes. The biggest thank you is for Sorcha. She is amazing and just because of her all this could happen.
